Social Events

All new employees are invited to join the company’s popular Recreation Club. The Recreation Club Committee is responsible for organising a variety of events, encouraging social contacts and friendly competition between Club members in all parts of our company.

There is also a host of different activities including shopping trips, quiz nights, ten pin bowling competitions and a range of sporting events.

These organised events are available to Club members and their families (ticket restrictions may apply) normally at a subsidised rate.

Lottery Scheme

Membership of the Recreation Club also entitles employees to participate in the Lottery Scheme. Employees can buy any number of shares in the Lottery to have an opportunity of winning a cash prize.

Every week there are two prizes of £100. Every month there is a pay-out of a £250 prize as well as a £1000 prize and twice-yearly special prizes of £5000. 

When funds have permitted, the Committee has also awarded special one-off prizes.

Subscription to the Recreation Club and the Lottery are deducted automatically from pay.

Christmas Club

Permanent members of staff who belong to the Recreation Club are eligible to join the Christmas Savings scheme. The chosen amount of weekly or four weekly savings are taken out of pay and repaid via the Payroll Department’s usual pay date system into bank accounts in November each year.
