Angus Oughtred
Non-executive
Before becoming a non-executive director, Angus was Managing Director of Jacksons Stores Limited which was sold to the J Sainsbury plc group in 2004. He continued with Sainsbury’s until 2008.
During his career Angus has developed a deep understanding of food retailing and was at the heart of the development of the multiple convenience store concept from its beginning in 1991. He played a key role with several trade bodies, including the National Association of Convenience Stores.
Married with two daughters, Angus enjoys the outdoor life and, when he can tear himself away from his continued interest in things retail, he likes to spend his leisure in the Spanish sun.
