Michael Oughtred
Vice Chairman
Michael is the group Vice-Chairman and became a non-executive director in April 2007, having previously held the role of Corporate Development Director of the group.
Michael joined the company in 1982 after graduating from the London School of Economics. He is President of the Yorkshire and Humber Chamber of Commerce, non-executive Chairman of Oughtred & Harrison Ltd and of Hull Truck Theatre Company, as well as holding a number of other directorships.
Married with four children, Michael is a sports fanatic - he is a governor of Sports Aid and is an enthusiastic rugby supporter having played for Hull Ionians and touring teams.
