Allan Wheelwright
HR Director
As HR Director, Allan is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of human resource and talent management throughout the group.
Allan joined the group in 1977 after gaining personnel experience at Deans Light Alloys Ltd and Armstrong Patents Ltd. He holds a BA Honours in Political Studies from Leeds University and is a member of the CIPD. Allan has overseen the people aspects of the many strategic changes and developments experienced by the William Jackson Food Group over recent years.
Married with two adult children, Allan enjoys getting away from it all to the family cottage near Dumfries, where he enjoys the local Scottish produce and indulges his interests of wild bird watching and photography whilst hill walking with his wife.
